Module 3- Missing Variables
1. In this module, you will continue to look at multiplication equations. However, this module allows you to solve equations that have a missing variable (number). Think about the equation 7 x ___= 28. You have a factor of 7, which tells us there are 7 groups. It is your job to figure out the amount that will go in each group. This is where the information learned in Module 1 will come in handy. Watch this, create 7 groups, or 7 rows, like pictured below. Fill in the groups until you get a total of 28. Therefore, you will get a total of 7 groups with 4 in each group.
